Keyword research results inside the Sigma dashboard

Until now, the honest answer to "can I cancel Semrush?" was no. You could get a report on a page, watch what your search visitors did afterwards, and track where you ranked — but finding the keywords in the first place still meant paying someone else $130 a month.

That gap closes today. Keyword research is live on all paid plans.

What shipped

Keyword Magic takes a seed keyword and returns everything around it — the long tail, the questions, the modifiers — with volume and difficulty on every row, so you can sort a thousand ideas down to the ten worth writing.

Keyword Overview is the single-keyword deep dive: monthly search volume, difficulty, the intent behind the query, and a 12-month trend line so you can tell a rising term from a dying one.

Domain Overview answers the competitor question directly — paste any domain and see what it ranks for, which pages earn it, and where the overlap with your own site is.

How it's priced

Every uncached lookup costs one credit. Cached results — anything already looked up recently, by you or anyone else — are free. In practice a research session costs a handful of credits, not a plan upgrade.

Where it fits

Research is the front of the loop. Find the keyword here, run a report against the page you want to rank, make the changes, then watch engagement and rankings respond. That's the whole product in one sentence, and this was the missing first step.
